GAMING SITE UPGRADE

This involves an inspection of the gaming area concerned together with a detailed
analysis of relevant gaming reports over a period.

This allows for the sites patrons preferences to be gauged and non-performing
machines to be identified. Together with a view to relevant positions, denominations
and games, a submission is then prepared regarding suggested recommendations and
course of action. Other considerations involved are the number of gaming machines,
availability of space, dependence on gaming revenue and the sites future intentions
and preferences. A written report and rough plan is supplied at this time.

Discussions are generally then held to explore all avenues and the relative costs
involved.

Providing recommendations are successful, the relative denomination/game/
positional changes are explored more comprehensively to gain the most value/best
possible results for the site. All plans, documentation, liaison etc are then handled
on your behalf, with complete communication maintained with the site at all times.
All authority and documentation is held by the site, but prepared and submitted
on your behalf. This allows complete confidence in the task being undertaken and
saves time on behalf of the site.

Also it is envisaged that certain procedures undertaken on your behalf should
result in a cost/time/inconvenience saving result for the site.

PLANNING & DESIGN GAMING AREA

Gaming Machine Services can liaise with the site or your architects to assist with
the planning of the Gaming Area in any installation; we liaise with all parties
concerned – not dictate.

Obviously the optimum benefits can be obtained with input at the initial planning
stages, however any site can be "redesigned" at any time. Our experience is
beneficial for several reasons, with our aim to increase your bottom line. We can

GAMING SITE MONTHLY REVIEW

This involves a comprehensive review of the monthly gaming accounting records
and procedures. This ensures that both the QOGR and your own accountants
requirements are completely satisfied.

The review is generally conducted on site as this allows for personal attention,
and accessibility. However, remote sites can also be accommodated.

A typed report is supplied to notify the site of existing or potential problems
(or lack thereof). Machine variances are diagnosed on an individual basis.

As an independent, this review allows complete confidence in the gaming
operations conducted on site, and has the potential to rectify minor problems
before major problems develop. Accountability is of paramount concern within
the gaming operation.

We believe this review to be a time saving and cost effective method for the
control of the gaming operations at the site, not to mention removal of the
worry, concern and innuendo that may be associated with discrepancies within
the gaming operations, thus ensuring a smooth operation for the site, and staff
involved.

GAMING SITE TRAINING

Experience gained from the Machine Gaming Division (now QOGR) together
with relevant "in the field" information is covered in the training session.

The full "on site" training session for floor staff generally takes 4 – 5 hours,
and office staff training is dependant on the situation.

With regards to training at your site, our services are briefly outlined below:

  • Designed specifically to your requirements

  • Staff are more comfortable in their site

  • Specific questions relating to your site can be addressed

  • No limit on (staff) attendees

  • Current "up to date" procedures

  • Staff are trained in the correct procedures

  • Legislative requirements are covered

  • While on site other problems can be addressed

  • Telephone backup is always available – FOC
These sessions are conducted in an open and informal manner, which is
conducive to a learning atmosphere. All topics involving gaming personnel
are covered, with some helpful hints distributed also.

These sessions are particularly useful as "refresher courses" for existing staff who
may have developed bad habits or received inadequate prior training.

Self esteem gained thru proficiency is an asset to any staff member and the site
involved.

Any other training requirements are available on request.


GAMING SITE ANALYSIS

This review is conducted on site, usually on a cash clearance day and involves an
overview of the sites gaming procedures. On this occasion, the following
procedures will be reviewed:
  • Cash Clearances

  • Manual Payments (Cancelled Credits)

  • Manual/Computerised Record Keeping

  • Submission of Required QOGR Reports

  • Compliance with QOGR Requirements

  • Gaming Float Controls

  • Understanding QOGR /or Licensed Monitoring Operators Computer Reports

  • Action Taken Regarding "Discrepancies" in the Reports

  • Servicing of Gaming Machines

  • Customer Dispute Procedures

This report is very useful in isolating existing or potential problems within the
gaming operations that may prove a risk to the site.

A written report is supplied with the results and any recommendations (if required).


GAMING SITE REVIEW

This review is conducted on site commencing prior to opening to the public and
looks at the general appearance and appeal of the site, and includes items such as:

Exterior

Parking / Signage / Landscaping / Entrance / Cleanliness / Transport Facilities

Interior

Cleanliness / Signage / Position of Facilities / Conveniences / Prices / Security /
Air Conditioning / Lighting

Then During Trading Hours

Staff Attitude / Customer Service / Cleanliness / Security / Atmosphere /
Presentation / Gaming Procedures

From this type of review it can be ascertained the positives and negatives (if any)
of the site with regards to the patrons point of view. A detailed written report is
supplied with the results and recommendations.
